Hosting a full Easter Sunday dinner could be a bigger challenge than usual this year, given supermarket shortages and a lack of dining options due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

There are, however, many restaurant chains offering take-out and delivery on Sunday April 12, and some are offering special menus for Easter.

Here is a sample:

Boston Market: A heat-and-serve family meal for 12 includes a boneless honey-glazed half ham, boneless turkey breast, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed spinach, corn, cornbread and apple pie. Cost is $119.99 and pickup is April 10-12. A la carte orders are also available.

Cracker Barrel: The heat-and-serve dinner for four to six people includes raw ham, rolls and a choice of two sides. Additions include half a gallon of tea and slices of coke cake. The cost is $59.99. A meal for 10 with three sides and two buttermilk pies is $139.99. Pickup is available until April 12.

Daily grills: Ham or roast chicken dinners for two people at $60 or four to six people at $125. Meals include bread, salad, three sides and a dessert.

Golden Corral: Family-style meals include 24 pieces of fried chicken, $59.99; glazed ham for six to eight people, $74.99; and 48 ounces of prime rib for six to eight people, $199.99. All meals include mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, choice of two sides and choice of pie. Online orders were required seven days in advance. Golden Corral suggests calling your local restaurant if you still want to try ordering.

King’s Seafood Company/Water Grill: King’s Seafood Company, based in Costa Mesa, has several restaurants and will offer two Easter feasts that can feed four to six people. A 9-pound bone-in spiral ham dinner is $120 and a bone-in prime rib roast is $195. Both include mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, sourdough bread, and bread pudding. Pickup is Saturdays only at the Water Grill, 3300 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa.

Lawry: Two of its three full-service Southern California restaurants offer single-serving lamb dinners for Easter. Five Crowns in Orange County serves a Colorado rack of lamb with spring peas and mint pesto for $59. 3801 E. Coast Highway, Corona del Mar,

Tam O’Shanter in the village of Atwater offers roast shoulder of lamb with roast fingerling potatoes, wild mushrooms, spring peas and carrots for $45. 2980 Los Feliz Blvd., Los Angeles,

The holiday specials at Lawry’s The Prime Rib are the Chilean Sea Bass for $45 and the Roasted Cauliflower Steak for $26. 100 La Cienega Blvd., Beverly Hills,

Restaurant and bar for lazy dogs: A do-it-yourself pancake brunch kit feeds five to eight people and includes pancake mix, whipped cream, Nutella, syrup, and bananas; 15 eggs; 1 pound of bacon; breakfast potatoes; Coffee; Orange juice. It costs $45. Lazy Dog will begin taking orders on Wednesday, April 8.

Mary Callender: Ham and turkey dinners that serve four include mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, vegetables, and a whole pie. Call your local restaurant for pricing and availability. to go

Patina Restaurant Group: Meals for four or eight include a choice of glazed ham or herb-roasted leg of lamb, Yukon potato gratin, rolls, roasted baby carrots, asparagus, salad, deviled eggs and carrot cake. Polly’s pies: Ham feasts for eight include a 40-ounce glazed ham, potatoes and gravy, vegetables, and a choice of apple pie, coconut cream pie, or four mini apple pie cakes. carrots. The cost is $99.99 and a small meal for four is available for $69.99.

Specialty Restaurant Company: This Anaheim company has themed restaurants all over Southern California. Two offer Easter meals.

The Castaway Burbank offers three packages for two or four people: herb-crusted salmon, $60, $80; rack of lamb, $75, $100; or salmon and filet mignon, $110, $140.
